About the Role:
You will join our maintenance team providing shift cover over a 24 hour cycle, ensuring that all work is carried out to the Company’s standards.
To support the engineering site teams to deliver optimum use of resources, that ensure the site delivers safety, productivity, quality, cost, and service objectives in an environment of high morale and engagement and help delivering site OEE targets/Improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work with the Engineering and Operational teams to deliver agreed OEE targets ensuring that all relevant OE tools, techniques and governance are applied.
  2. Support line performance improvement through the analysis of run rates, change-overs and SKU sequences. 
  3. Be proactive in implementing OEE/continuous improvement with regard to line operating practices and equipment.
  4. Carry out the plant preventative maintenance plan as scheduled and update completion on SAP.
  5. Attend reactive breakdowns, record corrective actions and support/lead on follow up actions and reviews.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  1. Practical Engineering / Technical / Facilities Maintenance experience with a proven track record of maintenance service delivery.
  2. Minimum qualification as time served Electrician with post Apprenticeship experience
  3. Experience of working within a strategic, target driven manufacturing environment which is measured by robust Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s).
  4. Working knowledge and application experience of delivering specific Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication are essential
  6. Whilst core skill is Electrical suitable candidate must be cross skilled mechanically with a strong can-do attitude.
  7. Strong trouble shooting and diagnostic skills
  8. PLC experience is desirable
  9. Takes pride in their approach to work
