About the Role:
As Shunter/Forklift driver , you will operate a Shunt truck/forklift/ppt  in the safest and most effective manner, driving activity to maintain and improve performance standards whilst leading continuous improvement through all activities within the despatch function in a busy warehouse.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Comply with company policies and statutory regulations for health and safety.
  2. Take accountability for the day to day performance of your personal area of operation and influence.
  3. Contribute to ensuring that despatch targets are met with regard to OE, SKU adherence, Wastage minimisation, Quality, Health and Safety and Overhead Cost Control.
  4. Ensure Housekeeping and Hygiene standards are met and constantly maintained across the site.
  5. Provide a role model example within the team for attitude, contribution and team working.
  6. Operate equipment  in accordance with best practice complying with Health and Safety rules and regulations and Britvic Policies and Procedures.
  7. Take responsibility for your own performance and involvement within the Team.
  8. Undertake  tasks, to drive efficiency of product loading to maintain customer service within the  designated team.
  9. Provide specific support and guidance when required for the development of others on equipment and EWM activities within the despatch team.         

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  1. Shunt truck/ FLT experience working in a fast paced, Consumer goods environment
  2. In date FLT licence
  3. Working knowledge of SAP/EWM
  4. Excellent, communication, team support and  facilitation skills
  5. Sound knowledge of warehouse  processes
  6. Sound knowledge of HSE processes and application
  7. Understanding of continuous improvement activities


Qualifications:
FLT licence and, or C1 or EC1 license
