Job Overview
Join our dynamic maintenance team providing essential 24/7 shift coverage in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our engineering site teams to optimize resources, ensuring the facility meets its safety, productivity, quality, cost, and service objectives. You'll contribute directly to maintaining high team morale while helping deliver site OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) targets and continuous improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to achieve OEE targets through proper application of operational excellence tools, techniques, and governance
- Enhance line performance by analyzing run rates, change-overs, and SKU sequences to identify and implement improvement opportunities
- Execute scheduled preventative maintenance according to plan and maintain accurate records in SAP CMMS
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, document corrective actions, and lead follow-up activities and reviews
- Proactively implement OEE and continuous improvement initiatives for line operating practices and equipment
- Maintain detailed shift handover documentation to ensure seamless operational continuity
Requirements
- Proven track record in Engineering/Technical/Facilities Maintenance with demonstrated maintenance service delivery experience
- Experience working in a strategic, target-driven manufacturing environment measured by robust Key Performance Indicators
- Working knowledge and practical application of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation
- Strong mechanical skills with cross-skilled electrical capabilities preferred
- Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities to quickly resolve technical issues
- PLC and SCADA experience highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across departments

Education/Qualifications
- Time-served Mechanical Technician qualification
- Minimum 5 years post-apprenticeship experience
- Additional electrical qualifications advantageous
