About the Role:
In this role you will strategically set the direction for continuous improvement at Britvic’s flagship rugby site. You will work with a team of skilled operators and leaders to bring a journey of change through engagement and influencing of the teams. 

 

You will help bring the wider team of operators into a continuous improvement mindset, and drive forwards projects and initiatives both by yourself and through others. 

Through this you will have a direct impact on Britvic’s profit by helping to reduce waste and stock loss, improvement in processes and ultimately saving money. 

 

You will lead and deliver the site plans for plant, people, and processes, within the context of the overall Manufacturing Excellence strategy To work with Site Leadership Team and broader stakeholders to support the delivery of the Supply Chain Excellence Improvement Road map and work with key teams and stakeholders across Supply Chain Excellence to ensure we take a true partnership approach that embodies the “win together” value.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Drive zero loss manufacturing principles consistently across site & effectively lead Continuous Improvement communications (Team talks, Team briefs, Newsletter) 
  2. Influence and coach key stakeholders in development of Continuous Improvement Culture and lead, train, and mentor all in the use of Continuous Improvement ensuring continual development of skills and knowledge transfer of Best Practice
  3. Review and analyse data & gain additional insight from stakeholders to support the identification of losses and creation of improvement plans and activities
  4. Ensure that loss analysis and benefit delivery is targeted from an “end to end” perspective that delivers the best outcome for the business 
  5. Lead or coach Focused Improvement projects across the site, drawing on the relevant data, insight, and stakeholder input

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  1. Proven Continuous Improvement experience in a FMCG environment or similar high volume automated environment is desirable.
  2. Proven track record of delivering the program for performance improvement in fast moving, demand volatile, operational environments. 
  3. Demonstrable expertise, knowledge & application of driving sustainable change via TPM Methodology, Lean six sigma or a relevant alternative. 
  4. Strong people leadership skills and ability to integrate differing functional demands is essential.
  5. Ability to deliver change through building people capability in an engaging and energetic way.
