About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity available for a people-focused learning and development capability manager to join our Learning & Development team (L&D), leading, designing and delivering innovative learning solutions, skill enhancement initiatives and talent growth opportunities to support a continuous learning culture that maximises the potential of our people, increases employee engagement and drives performances.
Working closely with HRBP's, Early Careers, L&D team and Supply Chain Leaders, our Learning Manager will lead the end to end learning and development strategy for their respective business unit (Supply Chain), providing leadership and guidance across on all capability initiatives .
Ultimately, we are looking for a passionate learning manager, with experience in developing and leading leadership and workforce capability learning initiatives. You will be joining a small but mighty L&D team, so you need to enjoy rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in to the day to day!

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, design, deliver, facilitate and implement effective learning programmes that support and drive the business unit Supply Chain Strategy
- Partner closely with the Site Lead and HRBPs to understand the requirements and needs to build a learning strategy that supports a resilient and future ready Supply Chain
- Partner with our Early Careers Team to ensure that we are utilising our Apprenticeship Levy to grow and strengthen capabilities.
- Develop outcomes, KPIs and metrics to monitor effectiveness of interventions and enhancing capability
- Stay up to date with external best practice and latest developments to strengthen capability
- Have a close relationship with the Supply Chain Functional Skills manager to ensure there is robust learning infrastructure through management of our LMS and standardisation of our training standards, as well as continuous improvement of learning lifecycle processes and policies, ensuring audit compliance
- Provide guidance for the design of training programs and assist in evaluation of training activities and programmes, in a way that support the FMCG working environment
Key deliverables:
- Own, create and Lead programmes of Supply Chain Capability Development. This includes the design of learning, leadership, performance, and career development initiatives that increase line manager effectiveness, workforce capability, and employee engagement.
- Evolve and embed our Supply Chain Competency Framework
- Support execution of general learning initiatives e.g. Manager Development, Strengthscope, digital learning an our new learning moments calendar
- Support implementation, engagement, and evolving LMS system
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience as an L&D Manager
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods
- Familiarity with digital learning platforms and practices
- Experience in project/stakeholder management and budgeting
- Proficient in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Strong communication and ability to positively influence stakeholders/vendors
- Experience working in a FMCG, Supply Chain/Logistics function would be ideal but not essential
