In the UK we employ over 1,800 people and have 3 factories, 3 office locations and a national distribution centre. Over the last few years, we have installed 10 new production lines, 3 new warehouses, a combined heat and power plant (CHP), as well as providing infrastructure for further expansion.

We are looking for a Quality Technician, based in Rugby, To achieve the required quality standards, and contribute towards achieving budgeted site performance through the effective control, operation and maintenance of the relevant equipment


Key Responsibilities:
As a Quality Technician you will own it as a technical resource with regard to all production quality issues covering seam analysis, fill levels, packaging and control of quarantined stock.
You will be required to carry out all verification of process/quality control equipment. 
You will be setting up of product identification labelling systems. 
We care about our business to you will be required to train all team members to carry out all on line quality checks using the procedure stated within the ISO system 
We believe we are stronger together so you will communicate effectively all processing issues of a technical and quality nature with management and production operators.
You will drive continuous improvement to site quality performance 
You will be responsible for SAP administration for quarantine, returned stock, redundant material etc.  


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
Food Technology qualification. 
Previous experience in a food or chemical environment using quality control techniques.  
Experience in HACCP /ISO / COSHH 
Well-developed interpersonal skills, specifically relationship building, facilitation, written / verbal communication are essential
Strong leadership skills
Experience of working with in an FMCG environment preferably within a Quality function
