Job overview

 

We are seeking a dynamic and committed Manufacturing Team Leader to lead and deliver site plans for plant, people, and processes for their shift. The ideal candidate will drive optimum resource utilization to ensure the delivery of safety, quality, service, cost, and productivity objectives while fostering an environment of high morale and engagement.

 

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and deliver shift plans aligned with site and company objectives.

  • Drive a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and practices.

  • Oversee product quality through adherence to standard operating procedures and GMP.

  • Support and lead safety, AIB, and GMDP audits, including timely closure of actions.

  • Manage labour planning, shift resourcing, and cost-effective workforce utilisation.

  • Promote team engagement through training, development, and regular performance reviews.

  • Champion lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

  • Conduct daily reviews to drive performance from a people, process, and equipment perspective.

  • Maintain accurate training records and support ongoing skills development.

 

Experience and Key Attributes

  • Minimum 5 years in FMCG, including 2 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on development.

  • Proven commitment to health, safety, and continuous improvement.

  • Experience in lean manufacturing and driving operational efficiencies.

  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

  • Ability to work independently, lead teams, and collaborate across functions.

 

Education/Qualifications

 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
