For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

About the Role

 

As a Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, targeting, and securing new national hospitality customers across the UK. You'll be the face of Carlsberg Britvic in the market, building strong relationships with key decision-makers and delivering tailored solutions that showcase the strength of our combined portfolio. This role includes line management responsibilities for a New Business Executive while driving strategic growth across National QSR, Casual Dining, Coffee & Bakery, and Leisure sectors.

 

Role Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute a strategic new business acquisition plan focused on national hospitality groups, with specific emphasis on QSR, Casual Dining, Coffee & Bakery, and Leisure sectors
  • Identify and qualify high-potential prospects through market intelligence, networking, and industry insights to build a robust sales pipeline
  • Lead comprehensive end-to-end sales processes from initial engagement through to contract negotiation and successful customer onboarding
  • Collaborate with marketing, category, and commercial teams to create compelling customer propositions that leverage our diverse portfolio
  • Represent Carlsberg Britvic professionally at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to enhance brand visibility
  • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting using CRM tools to ensure transparency and accountability
  • Provide effective line management and development support to a New Business Executive
  • Ensure seamless handover to account management teams post-acquisition to maintain customer satisfaction

 

Experience and Key Attributes

 

  • Proven track record in winning new business within the hospitality or FMCG sector with demonstrable results
  • Strong commercial acumen and exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to structure complex deals
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities with experience managing stakeholders at all levels
  • Deep understanding of the UK hospitality landscape and evolving customer needs
  • Self-motivated professional with high energy, resilience, and a results-driven mindset
  • Experience working with complex product portfolios and cross-functional teams
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel nationally as required
