About the Role:

 

Britvic are in an exciting phase in the transformation of all aspects of the Finance organisation: systems, processes, and ways of working and this role will be pivotal to the continuous improvement and sustainable implementation of change. This role supports primarily the record to report (R2R) and order to cash (O2C) functions in reviewing the end-to-end processes, designing, and implementing improvements and efficiencies. This role requires a detailed knowledge of the process, systems and stakeholders involved and an understanding of best practice, to achieve measurable improvements. It requires the ability to build reporting and KPI’s to monitor performance and to work with large volumes of data  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and chair monthly Change Board meetings (Finance Change Board, Source to Pay Change Board), ensuring all new and existing items are up to date, documented and approved by the relevant global process owner (GPO).
  • Maintain the Process Taxonomy and Process documents 
  • Review AS IS processes at a minimum annually, identifying areas for improvement that enhance process efficiency or financial controls, in line with best practice
  • Support GPOs to implement process changes by providing training and communication into teams to ensure embedded into BAU 
  • Ensure processes across procure to pay (P2P), O2C and R2R are documented in the required standard.
  • Build relationships with all appropriate stakeholders and project teams to ensure appropriate GPO engagement in any process changes.
  • Document and obtain sign off from the GPO of any new or proposed process amendments.
  • Work together with the GPOs to ensure system changes or upgrades are appropriately tested end to end, documented, signed off and communicated to relevant teams before being implemented to the live SAP environment.
  • Initiate the creation and training of a network of system “super users” within FSS to ensure problems are resolved swiftly with minimal impact on BAU activities.
  • Investigate and resolve root causes of data mapping issues, P2P, Manage the “root cause analysis” process in P2P and roll out to O2C and R2R.
  • Owns the process for financial master data setup and ongoing maintenance, including cost centres, WBS elements and GL accounts. Ensure setup, changes and closure of accounts are reviewed and approved accordingly.
  • Manage the mapping of financial master data changes through Britvic financial systems SAP>BW>BPC as well as SAC reporting maintenance. 
  • Investigation and resolution of mapping issues across financial systems.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience across O2C and R2R
  • SAP “super-user” and proficient in all of Microsoft packages - Microsoft Word, with excellent Excel skills and PowerPoint, preferably Visio and Power BI. 
  • Ability to work with large volumes of data and analyse to identify root cause issues
  • Communication - Clear and engaging communication skills
  • Ability to design and build KPI reporting to be used across a range of BAU stakeholders
  • Problem-solving - Ensure that there is a shared understanding of the problem and the solutions that are available.
  • Critical thinking – Evaluate various options and propose the solution that provides the best fit for the business, whilst keeping the stakeholders’ needs in mind.
  • Documentation skills – Ability to create documentation that is clear and concise that will help keep vital data organised and easy to find. 
  • Facilitation – Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and often with other members of staff in order to reach a conclusion as to the best solution to offer the organisation.
