Job Overview:

 

The Data Analyst performs a key function within the business, ensuring timely and accurate data maintenance within a controlled Data Governance framework. This role focuses on maintaining Material Masters, Bills of Materials (BOMs), Products, and associated data across SAP platforms. The Data Analyst partners with business functions like Supply Chain to deliver process improvements, manage data quality initiatives, create dashboards, and perform regular data cleansing activities.

This is a 6-month Fix Term Contract, which has the potential to develop into a permanent role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage daily requests to create, review, validate, and maintain master data and associated hierarchies in SAP and other internal systems
  • Manage data submissions for product, packaging, and related data creation, ensuring compliance with Customer requirements and Industry standards   
  • Assist with designing, testing, and implementing new processes and enhancements to systems containing master data
  • Perform ongoing data maintenance and cleansing to ensure quality and business-relevant data across applications
  • Collaborate with business, IT, and Project teams to align master data rules and ensure application requirements are met   

 

About You:

 

  • 2-3 years of data management and analysis experience or a similar role within a Shared Service or Supply Chain environment
  • We are open to college/university graduates
  • SAP knowledge and experience (advantageous)
  • Proficient in MS Office: Excel (lookups, pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Demonstrates eagerness to learn, develop, and engage in continuous professional growth
  • Highly quality-focused with excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills   
  • Awareness of Master Data Management best practices
