About the Role:


Reporting to the Master Data Manager, within financial shared services, the master data analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day timely and accurate completion of data activities to support P2P, R2R and O2C process cycles.

This is a highly collaborative role, that requires the provision of expertise, knowledge and guidance to our sales, procurement and finance teams to maximise operating efficiency and ensure system data integrity is maintained to agreed governance rules and standards.


Responsibilities would include:-

  • Manage daily requests to create, review, validate and maintain master data along with any associated hierarchies in SAP, and other related internal systems


  • Determines the course of action necessary to complete master data requests within established SLAs



  • Routinely audit data against established rule sets to ensure consistency and accuracy of information, and update data as necessary.


  • Assist with the design, testing, and implementation of new processes and/or enhancements to the systems that support master data.



  • Perform ongoing data maintenance and cleansing activities to ensure all applications and systems contain quality data.


  • Work closely with the business/IT to ensure alignment of master data rules and the operations of the application meet all requirements.



Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a Master data function preferable.
  • Good Excel skills - Formulas, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Analytical with an exceptional level of attention to detail, along with strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Takes personal accountability for delivering high quality work which is right first time
  • Customer focussed and understands the impact of incorrect master data




  • Educated up to A Level standard;
