About the Role:
This role will be a project based role that will focus on supporting the RCOE Manager in implementing new Planning/ Forecasting and Analytic based solutions as part of a 3 year strategy.

The key to success in this role is to support in the implementation & testing of solutions (in SAP Anlaytics Cloud), to have attention to detail, be highly organised, able to work under pressure & communicate effectively and to be a strong team player.

The roles sits in a finance function, however an accountancy background is not essential, rather the ability to understand/learn financial outputs is required. The candidate must be strong mathematically, have a logical mind set, be comfortable working with systems and be able to work with ambiguity.  

The role will initially start by supporting BAU activity (creating reports & updating systems) and then focus on project delivery from October 2021. This will give the successful incumbent opportunity to learn current RCOE processes & systems before starting project activities. 

Key Responsibilities:

Centralised report development & production (until Oct-21)
•    Produce, distribute and maintain key reports accurately and to agreed deadlines
•    Co-ordinate key reporting inputs from different teams, e.g. for Rolling Forecast, setting out clear timelines & expectations
•    Proactively drive report efficiency enhancements
•    Help drive greater standardisation of reporting across Business Units


Supports the implementation of new planning solutions in SAC Planning
•    Support in the requirement gathering and design creation of new solutions
•    Work with IT consultants to ensure that solutions are being created according to signed of designs
•    Do detailed UAT testing and offer solutions when outcomes are not as desired
•    Support in the training of new Solutions in SAC Planning
•    Offer post implementation support and in the imbedding of new solutions


Creation of Analytical Reporting in SAC Analytics
•    Become an expert in SAC Analytics reports creation (training will be offered)
•    Support in the scoping of reporting requirements across the organisation in order to create departmental specific reporting solutions
•    Create SAC Reports as part of all Planning Solutions
•    Give training across the organisation and be the go-to person for SAC Anlaytics


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

•    Good understanding of financial and accounting processes (Not essential, but must be able to pick up required knowledge)
•    Have experience in using SAC Analytics Designer, or demonstrate the ability to learn (training will be given)
•    Excellent Microsoft Office applications ability: particularly Excel (lookups, indexes, pivot tables, Power Query, Data Modeling etc.)
•    Must be able to work with mass data (500k+ rows of data)
•    Must have the ability to understand the importance of data setup (e.g. Flat Tables etc)
•    Be able to understand Scripts (training will be offered)
•    Able to demonstrate problem solving skills – good at linking systems/ideas together and competent at investigating discrepancies
•    Experience finance planning / consolidation systems SAC is preferable
•    Background in FMCG preferable
•    Come from a MI/BI background or equivalent
