About the Role:

 

This role sits within the Procurement Operations team which works across Britvic to ensure goods and services are procured and paid for in a cost effective, efficient and governance compliant manner, effectively contributing to the One Britvic vision.

The role is varied and requires the involvement in multiple projects the team is running, so a self-starter who can multitask is essential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Procurement Process

 

  • Key user for the creation and management of Purchase Orders,
  • Identify new opportunities for cost saving, efficiencies and governance enhancement
  • Provide support to the Procurement Operations team, accounts payable and all other stakeholders in the procure to pay process
  • Provide cover to other Procurement Operations specialists

 

Governance

 

  • Responsible for the creation of purchase orders for all purchased items
  • Responsible for receipting of all purchase orders raised
  • Responsible for improving adherence to the procure to pay policies
  • Train and support stakeholders within the procure to pay process as required

 

Project Management

 

  • Contribute to the data gathering and testing of procure to pay improvement initiatives with IT
  • Work with the Procurement Operations team and data team to ensure master data is kept up to date and ensures accurate requisitions
  • Feed into procure to pay initiatives as required

 

Communication

 

  • Create strong relationships with stakeholders, developing a credible and collaborative environment
  • Ensure adherence of agreed policies and process through excellent communication, both within the function, the wider Britvic organisation and through the supplier base
  • Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders and working within SLA to ensure all queries are dealt with within provided time scale

    Policies, Procedures & Reporting

     

  • Create and distribute periodic procure to pay analysis and reports
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of P2P process
  • Understand and have the ability to create/amend process flow charts

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

 

Technical

  • A strong working knowledge of Requisitioning, its role within an organisation, how it adds value and interacts with other functions
  • A good understanding of Accounts Payable and Procurement Operations role and processes
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with very strong IT skills across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio & Project Office
  • Champion process improvements
  • Focus on continuous learning & development
  • A proven ability to multi-task effectively

 

Non-Technical

  • Good influencing and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated success working in a cross functional team environment is essential 
  • Enthusiasm and a “can do” attitude, showing initiative and drive
  • Ability to request and obtain help at the appropriate time and work under pressure with good time management skills
