Job Overview

 

At Britvic, we are seeking a dynamic and driven Specification Sales Manager to join our Aqua Libra Co. team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving the specification and adoption of our premium filtered tap solutions across the commercial workplace, hospitality, and public sectors in Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in creating awareness and building relationships with architects, builders, designers, and fit-out companies, positioning Aqua Libra Co. as the tap of choice for their projects.

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

  • Report to the Head of Aqua Libra & Aquaporte, accountable for delivering the Annual Sales Placements target for Aqua Libra Co products through specification.
  • Drive sales of integrated tap solutions across the Island of Ireland.
  • Build and manage new customer relationships, oversee account administration, introduce new products, manage pricing, and ensure P&L delivery.
  • Handle day-to-day customer account management, developing and delivering CPD training and "lunch & learn" sessions for Architects, Builders, Designers, and other customer groups to highlight the benefits of high-quality tap systems.
  • Manage the specification sales pipeline from lead to installation, collaborating closely with the in-house operations team.
  • Proactively generate awareness for Aqua Libra Taps, engaging with the target audience and establishing relationships with trade professionals to build the pipeline.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the strategic placement of Taps aligns with business growth goals.
  • Experience in Specification Sales with a strong network in this field
  • Preferably experienced in selling integrated tap systems
  • Commercially alert and sales-focused
  • Self-confident and proactive, with a fast-paced work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills, adept at working with diverse professional companies and stakeholders
  • Proven track record of closing high-value sales and managing accounts
  • Skilled at identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and growing a sales pipeline
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities
  • Outstanding negotiation and objection-handling skills
  • Team-oriented, able to work effectively with sales and cross-functional teams
  • Passionate about sustainability and skilled in supporting customers on their journey towards eco-friendly solutions

 

Requirements

 

  • Proven experience in specification sales and an extensive network of contacts within this channel
  • Familiarity with selling integrated tap systems is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial acumen and a sales-focused approach, coupled with self-confidence and a sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of professional companies and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in closing high-value sales and managing accounts
  • Expertise in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships, and developing a robust sales pipeline
  • Exceptional planning and organizational abilities
  • Skilled in negotiation and objection handling
