About the Role:


Aqua Libra Co began life in 2009 as The Boiling Tap Company and is now part of the Britvic PLC group. The Aqua Libra dispense business forms part of the Beyond The Bottle (BTB) business.


We are looking for a passionate individual to join an expanding finance team. This role will be fundamental to helping continue the excellent growth that Aqua Libra Company has seen. A self-starter with a challenger mindset and a real desire to work in an SME environment are vital.


The BTB Finance Assistant will be responsible for:

  1. Supporting on the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) ledgers
  2. Supporting management of bank transactions
  3. Supporting month end processes including completion of reconciliations


Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable

  1. Uploading sales related transactions into the Xero system
  2. Inputting into Tradex/Coupa input (cloud based e-commerce spend management tool)
  3. Supporting aspects relating to credit control including customer relationships, customer queries, debtor reporting and cash collection
  4. Supporting generation of weekly AR reports 


Accounts Payable

  1. Processing purchase invoices and liaising with suppliers on queries
  2. Management of Purchase Orders
  3. Supporting completion of payment runs



  1. Supporting inputting and matching bank receipts and payments
  2. Producing weekly bank reconciliations


Month End

  1. Preparing/supporting preparation of month end reconciliations
  2. Supporting month end reporting to BTB management and to the Group Finance team


Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:


  1. Working towards a financial qualification
  2. Experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of double entry and completion of transactional activity
